Wild Bill Hicock is haunted by the image of a white buffalo that symbolizes his fear of death. He must find the fabled beast before it destroys him. Crazy Horse also searches for the white buffalo. With its pelt, Crazy Horse can insure that the spirit of his dead child will go to heaven. He will stop at nothing to attain the pelt. The two living legends clash over the hunt for the White Buffalo.
